Living to Touch God’s Heart: An Invitation to Intimacy
In this sermon Chris Ulery trains you to be a student of God's emotions, and helps you understand our profound impact on the deeply emotional heart of God. Chris gives a fresh revelation into the depths of intimacy we are capable of reaching with God and explains how to practically live as the bride of Christ on a day to day basis. After hearing this sermon you will gain a new perspective into the emotional vulnerability of God and how we have the potential to be God's greatest joy, or his greatest pain, and will be inspired to fall in love with God all over again.
The Intoxicating Pleasures of God
If your Christian experience has been primarily characterized by fighting to suppress desire and by trying to "just say no" to temptation then you're doing it wrong! In this sermon Chris Ulery explains how a successful Christian life is one of unrestrained pursuit of the Ultimate Pleasure. Chris also reveals the lie of temptation and shares the key missed by many that is crucial to living an enjoyable, exciting, and exhilarating life of purity.
Enjoying God: The Dangers of Drifting From Your First Love
While sharing with students preparing for a life in ministry at Rhema Bible Training College Chris shared this sermon as a reminder to not let the pressures of life and ministry squeeze out our personal relationship with God. It is a call to return to your first love, and a warning to not become so focused on our earthly assignments that we neglect our eternal purpose. If your relationship with God has seemed a little dull lately, then this message is sure to stoke the embers of passion into a roaring fire again.
Follow: What It Truly Means to Live as a Follower of Jesus
A lot of people call themselves Christians, but what does it really look like to live as a follower of Jesus Christ? In a society where the simple click of a mouse makes you a "follower" have we lost sight of the true significance of deciding to follow Christ? "We see God as an apathetic father who is satisfied when people merely manage to fit Him into their lives in some small way. Jesus came humbly as a servant, but He never begs us to give Him some small part of ourselves. He demands everything from His followers."
In this fun and humorous presentation of the Gospel Chris looks at the story of Isaac and Rebekah as a type and shadow of our relationship with Christ, and reveals that what it means to live as a follower of Christ is to live out of a place of extravagance as His bride.
The Power of the Cross
A popular quote "people accept the kind of love they think they deserve" could also be said as "people accept the kind of life they think they deserve." Unfortunately this kind of thinking has paralyzed many Christians from accepting the blessings God longs to lavish on them. People believe that because of their shortcomings and failures that they deserve poverty, sickness, troubled relationships, and guilt so they embrace these very things that Christ came to free us from with the cross. In this sermon Chris shares that Christianity has never been about getting what we deserve, and preaches on the power of the cross to save, heal, and deliver us from everything less than abundant life!
The Empowerment of Grace
After Chris Ulery sent out a facebook message that went viral entitled "The truth about pornography, masturbation, and fornication… despite what the psychologists say" he began to receive emails from people all over the world asking him how to get free of their addictions. This sermon is an answer to those questions and gives the listener all the knowledge they need to live a life free of all habitual sins and addictive behaviors. In this sermon you will learn how to live an extraordinary life of greatness.
Changing THE World by Changing YOUR World
In this challenging sermon Chris and Jessica Ulery tag team preach on "Changing THE world by changing YOUR world" and share the three Cs to reaching your circle. You will be both encouraged and empowered to reach out and share Jesus to those in your sphere of influence.
Jesus at the Center
In this simple sermon Chris clearly illustrates how man's attempts to find lasting pleasure will inevitably be futile until we understand the simple key to our existence. We will investigate God's original and ultimate purpose for mankind, and how until that purpose is fulfilled we will continue to drudge through a meaningless, boring and unfulfilling life. If you've found yourself bored, unsatisfied and restless with your current season of life then this is a must hear.
What’s Your Game Plan?
When Jessica was 21 she was given the opportunity to share her game plan for success at dating God's way. Her message was shared as a part of her church's series on sexual purity. Listen as she shares how she avoided the heartbreak that the dating scene usually provides, and how you too can experience all the joys and benefits of choosing to date God's way!
We Are Giants
Taking cities for God, transforming nations, performing great exploits for the fame of His name, and taking down giants are part of the "normal" life for a Christian. In this sermon Chris explores the truth of who the Bible says we are, what we can have, and how to live in Victory in every area of our life. The will of God is never impossible. No matter how difficult it may seem, no matter how much bigger than you it may appear, if God said it then you can do it. This sermon will encourage you to dream bigger and give you the courage to reawaken and pursue the long forgotten passions and dreams God has placed in your heart.
Roots: Growing Deep in God to Withstand the Storms of Life
In this sermon Chris shares a bit of his testimony and how God used his time in the valley to grow and mature him. Everybody loves mountain top experiences, but it is in the valley where things really grow. It was during this season of loneliness that God told Chris, "Loneliness is just an invitation to intimacy with Me." And thus began the season of Chris' life where although God was all he had, he discovered God was all he needed. And eventually became all he wanted.
You'll also hear a testimony from Chuck Nance whose daughter Tiffany got in a car expecting to go to a band competition, but instead arrived in Heaven on the night of October 10th, 2009. Although I was never blessed to get the opportunity to meet Tiffany, I was touched by her life as I heard her father speak. And she'll touch yours too when you listen to this. "What the devil intended for bad, God has used for good." Whatever you're going through, God wants to bring beauty from the ashes. Listen to this and be encouraged!
Genesis: Your New Beginning of a Great Ending
"The two most important days in your life are the day you are born, and the day you find out why." We are always transitioning into new seasons and chapters of our lives. As we make those transitions it is important that we allow our lives to be led by vision, and that we be sure the paths we are on are leading us to where we want to end up. Find out how to discover "why" you were born when you listen to this sermon entitled "Genesis."
Winning: Living an Extraordinary Life, Part 1
"As a follower of Jesus Christ it is not our right to decide what we want to do with our lives, but it is our responsibility to discover what God wants us to do with our lives." As God begins to birth vision and destiny in your heart you'll need to know how to turn those dreams and visions into reality. Discover how important it is we answer God's call to live an extraordinary life, and how to turn our dreams to realities in this first part of a two part series by Chris Ulery.
Winning: Living an Extraordinary Life, Part 2
In this part 2 of the #Winning series Chris breaks down the essential steps to living an extraordinary life and provides the framework for a life of greatness! There are four key areas in every believer's life that must be aligned correctly if we are to experience the promise of success found in the Bible. Chris details those four areas in this sermon and gives you everything you need to see your God given dreams become a reality!
The Lie of Esau: You Can’t Have Your Stew and Eat It Too
In this sermon Chris Ulery highlights the profound capacity for greatness found in young people drawing from stories of young Bible characters that performed great exploits for God in their youth. He also illustrates from the story of Jacob and Esau how compromise threatens to rob young people of their great callings, and how we have to solidify our foundation of character in order to support the weighty callings of God on our lives. This sermon is a call to go beyond normal to achieve greatness, and an explanation of how to achieve that greatness.
Get Real!
Chris Ulery rips the masks off in a totally transparent sermon encouraging the congregation to "get real" as he shares from his testimony dealing with taboo subjects such as masturbation, pornography, fornication, and other hidden sins. In a bold effort to restore power back to the sin plagued church Chris shares how confessing our sins one to another breaks the bondage of sin that secrecy attempts to enslave us in. You'll also hear a spontaneous prophecy from Sarah Hoofman regarding the healing that God desires to bring us through the confessing of our sins.
You can also read about the unexpected response Chris received after preaching this sermon by reading the blog entry “Confessions of a local church.”
Communion: Saying Yes to God
Chris Ulery goes in depth explaining the analogy between the actions of Christ on earth and the ancient Jewish marriage customs of Jesus' day. In this teaching you will get a glimpse into Christ's heart and His desire for a bride as you understand all His actions towards the church have been reminiscent of the actions of a groom towards a bride.
