What we believe
Statement of Faith
Chris Ulery and Divine Romance Ministries hold to the following beliefs.
- God. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- Scripture. We believe the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God and inerrant. They are the supreme and final authority by which all human opinions, creeds, and conduct are judged.
- Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, and is both fully God and fully man.
- Salvation. We believe Jesus died for our sins according to the Scriptures as our substitute, and that all who believe in Him are justified through His blood shed on the cross.
- New birth. We believe all who receive Jesus Christ by faith as Lord are born again by the Holy Spirit and become children of God and members of the body of Christ.
- Resurrection. We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, who ascended into heaven and lives forever to intercede for us.
- Water baptism. We believe in water baptism by full immersion following salvation, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
- Baptism in the Holy Spirit. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as an experience following salvation, which empowers believers to be witnesses and gives supernatural strength to live the crucified life.
- Healing and wholeness. We believe in healing, deliverance, and wholeness for the whole person: spirit, soul, and body.
- Christ’s return. We believe in the rapture of the church and the second coming of Jesus Christ.
